If the USB device has a permanent failure recognition, and data on disk is not essential for you might just try creating a new partition. Definitely, if the device is hardware problems that would be useful. Follow the instructions:
* Go to the Start menu, then click the Run option.
* Now type "diskmgmt.msc" command, then hit the Enter key.
* Locate the USB at the bottom of the window that opens, and right click on it.
* Now delete the partition on the USB.
* Create a new partition, right-click the USB option. Format in FAT or FAT32 format.
* Remove the USB and reinsert it into the computer.
